On February 2, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony for our construction project "Old & Young Under One Roof at Lake Claudius" in Bad Oldesloe. Currently under construction on Hebbelstrasse are 50 modern one- and two-room apartments ranging in size from 38 to 78 square meters – including underground parking – as well as the long-awaited daycare center with three groups .

senior citizens and children are under one roof . This creates a vibrant community where both generations benefit from each other. Shared activities promote interaction, foster a sense of belonging, and prevent loneliness in old age.

The German Red Cross (DRK) Stormarn district association provide of services and support on site events, excursions, and other activities .

With this construction project, we are not only creating new living space, but also a place for meeting and living together – a home for old and young .
